The Mariucci Family Foundation was formed in 2011 by Steve Mariucci to promote and advance his philanthropic works and to involve his family in those endeavors. The purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds and make grants to other non-profit organizations. The Foundation organizes, hosts, and is the beneficiary of various fundraising events to support it's charitable purposes. This includes multiple annual celebrity sporting events including golf tournaments, youth football camps for athletes with Down Syndrome, and the "Battle of the Bay" celebrity bocce ball tournament, among others.
Grants are made to charities having proven track record of delivering services to and supporting underserved youth and their families by providing access to sports, recreational and therapeutic programs, nutrition, education, and healthcare. Prospective grantees of the Foundation include, but are not limited to, charities such as the Beacon House, Camp for the Stars, YMCA, School Programs and Athletic programs consistent with the Foundations charitable purposes, and more.
